Although you may feel happier if you book with your ideal place of birth sooner rather than later, it is worth finding out all your choices first. And remember, you can change your booking at any time, right up to the birth of your baby.

3. Find out about the different sorts of Maternity Units where you could have your baby.
4. Find out about your local maternity units:

c) Visit your local maternity units and ask them questions about their policies, facilities and staff. |

5. Once you have thought about the type of birth you would like, and researched all the options available to you, by using the above process, you can choose where you would like to give birth.
